IFM Contributor Francesco Zanin (Our very first EVER!)
Location: I'm based between France and Luxembourg.
Camera of choice: I mainly use the SLR670-X MING EDITION polaroid (by Mint Camera) and the SX-70 model 1 polaroid (I love the film SX-70 for the sharp of contrast and colors)
Style:I'm still learning, but what I enjoy most is playing with lines, curves, shadows and light. Spaces and people are my inspiration. I also like to experiment a little as inspiration strikes.
Goals with Instant Film: I like to discover and share with other enthusiasts, which creates a sense of emulation.
Goals within the IFM: My aspirations within IFM are to contribute in my own way to the preservation of the analog medium of instant photography, and to contribute to the networking of the large community of instant photography enthusiasts.
What fascinates me about polaroid photography is that it is both avant-garde and resilient. Avant-garde, because long before digital, polaroid was able to offer a photo that could be consulted instantly. Resistant, because at a time when digital images can be duplicated ad infinitum, the polaroid photo is unique... a kind of NFT before its time
